Internationalism Learning

We are making connections between ourselves and learning about Hong Kong.  The more we are able to understand about Hong Kong, the more impact we will have as global citizens within and outside of Hong Kong.  We are striving to make connections with Hong Kong people, Hong Kong schools, Hong Kong businesses etc.  By connecting to others, we can collaborate and share our learning to learn from and with each other.

We would like the children to think about: What are the needs of the people in Hong Kong? What are the current issues? What is the historical background? Why do I need to know?

Students gather information from primary sources (people, neighbours etc), read/watch/discuss current news from Hong Kong. ‘Young Post’.

INTERNATIONALISM PARENT PRESENTATION EVENING by Katie Cornes DBIS

Perhaps you would like to come and help us learn?

Our place in Hong Kong

We are making connections between ourselves and learning about Hong Kong.  The more we are able to understand about Hong Kong, the more impact we will have as global citizens within Hong Kong.  We are striving to make connections with Hong Kong people, Hong Kong schools, Hong Kong businesses etc.  By connecting to others, we can collaborate and share our learning to learn from and with each other.

If you are able to help us in any way, please let us know.  Your children will be encouraged to learn about Hong Kong through the curriculum and explicitly during our Discovery Weeks such as 'Sustainability Week, Week Without Walls, etc'.  You can also support your child by accessing the link here:
